Stonehaven is a four-season family-oriented resort located on beautiful spring-fed Tuscobia Lake just outside of Rice Lake, Wisconsin. We are nestled on 40 acres of magnificent woodlands shaded by towering pines, majestic oaks, and elegant white birch with beautiful hiking and skiing trails woven throughout the property. Our resort has a half mile of pristine shoreline including our own tiny semi-private Wintergreen Island that is perfect for picnics, relaxation, and listening to wildlife.
The Gatekeeper Cottage is centrally located on the property and is near the stunningly beautiful Rose-stone berm entrance to the resort. The Gatekeeper boasts a large wrap-around porch where you can sit and relax while taking in the panoramic view of the hidden wilderness of Tuscobia Lake!

If you’re looking for a tranquil place with a view, our second cottage, “The Turtle” is the one for you! This cozy little one-level cottage was moved here from Turtle Lake, WI, and has received a total makeover. We’ve sprinkled in a few antiques, along with some adorable turtle decor to give this quaint lakeside cottage a charm all its own!

The Birchview Lower features an open concept between the kitchen and living room and boasts 9 ft. barn wood ceilings throughout and the living room walls are made with real birch logs from our land! This cozy bungalow features a beautiful fieldstone fireplace and in-floor heat to keep you toasty on those cold winter nights.

If I could give a 10 star review, I would! Everything about this place & space is incredible! The craftsmanship that these two have together is off the charts ~ every square inch of everywhere, & every cottage is amazing. Lori invited us to tour the other cottages before the next round of guests arrived. We enjoyed a wonderful paddle in the new kayaks they provided. I don’t think I’ve slept that well in 12 years! From the dishes to the dish towels & linens & decor, everything was appointed so well. Absolutely loved each fireplace & mantle we encountered! Cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful place for people to come and enjoy.

Stonehaven Cottages has been a dream and passion of ours for many years. God has been leading us and has fully equipped us here at Stonehaven, opening many doors to make this resort a reality. It is our goal to serve our guests and ensure a pleasurable, relaxing visit to Northern Wisconsin.
