All guests must register upon entering their cottage. They will find a sign in sheet on the desk area inside each cottage. Cottage occupancy is based on two people per bedroom with an additional 2 people maximum with the exception of larger families. Guests must vacate their cottage no later than 11:00 a.m. on the final day. Lodging will not be issued for more than 14 nights but may be renewed depending upon availability of cottages. Guests must be at least 18 years old to stay at our resort. Guests must have identification and proof of age, and furnish the full names of everyone in their party. The guest is responsible for the conduct of everyone under 18 years old and is liable for any violations of the rules and regulations.
Firewood Alert – “Don’t Move Firewood” By transporting firewood, you could be spreading diseases and invasive insects that can quickly kill large numbers of trees. Help stop the spread and obey the Firewood Regulation. All fires must be built only in the fire ring provided for that purpose. Firewood cannot be gathered on site except from dead and down trees. Fires cannot be left unattended.
Quiet hours must be observed between the hours of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. All garbage will be deposited in appropriate refuse dumpsters by the resort owners. No person shall ignite fireworks. No person shall engage in fighting or violent, or threatening behavior; or engage in any other activity which violates the Law. No person shall discharge firearms on the property.

No person shall operate a motor vehicle at a speed in excess of the posted speed limit of 10 mph. No 4 Wheelers, UTVs, and ATVs are to be operated on resort hiking and skiing trails at any time. They must be operated only on gravel driveways and main road for the sole purpose of getting on and off the property. All motor vehicles must be equipped with factory exhaust. No loud mufflers allowed.
Guests shall park all vehicles, trailers etc. on their own site. Please check with management for parking of excess vehicles in our overflow parking area.
No lifeguard is provided. Swimming and water activities are done at your own risk.
As per current law, no person under 21 years of age shall possess alcoholic beverages. Persons age 21 or over who possess or consume alcoholic beverages must produce adequate identification and proof of age upon request.
Violation of any resort rule is grounds for eviction. Anyone who is evicted is not entitled to a refund and/or may not be allowed to return.
The amount of your refund is determined by when you contact Stonehaven Cottages of your decision to cancel. For cancellations occurring 7 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival, a full refund is granted. Cancellations made within 7 days (7 days or less) of scheduled arrival will only be refunded 50% of the reservation fee.
